Properlee was created to challenge the conventional real estate model – one often driven by volume, templates and transactional thinking. The brief was to define a brand that reflected Jay's distinct approach: thoughtful, advisory-led and tailored to each client. Our role was to shape a strategy and identity that would clearly articulate this difference and position Properlee as a premium, considered alternative within the highly competitive Hills market.

Our strategic direction centred on a simple but powerful truth drawn from Jay's own philosophy and client feedback: when things are done properly, results are better. This insight became the foundation of the brand platform, allowing us to connect the name Properlee with a meaningful idea and a clear value proposition.

From this, we developed the positioning line "Remarkable Real Estate" – a statement that frames remarkable not as a claim, but as an outcome of a better process.

Creatively, we built a visual and verbal identity that reflects this mindset. The brand language is calm, confident and intelligent, avoiding industry clichés and sales-driven tone. Design elements emphasise clarity, restraint and precision, while imagery was art directed to feel warm, human and considered – reinforcing the brand's advisory nature and creating a premium, approachable presence across all touchpoints.

A key objective was differentiation. In a market where competitors largely communicate scale, volume and longevity, Properlee instead communicates thoughtfulness, bespoke strategy and clarity of guidance.
